The Role:
LEEP is seeking a talented and passionate individual to lead its external communications and engage with donors and stakeholders. As a key member of the External Relations Team, you'll play a vital role in shaping how LEEP communicates its groundbreaking research, policy progress, and impact to audiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
Messaging and Content Development: Craft, edit, and package public-facing content, including blogs, newsletters, success stories, website pages, and presentations. Translate intricate research findings into compelling narratives tailored for diverse audiences, ensuring accuracy and alignment with LEEP's brand.

Donor and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide clear, transparent communications for donor reporting. Draft donor updates, thank-you letters, and stakeholder materials. Maintain donor lists and track communications. Assist with analysis to manage donor relationships.
What LEEP Seeks:
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strong writing skills, digital communications expertise, and a deep commitment to LEEP's mission. Key qualifications include at least four years of experience in communications, writing, public affairs, or journalism, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to translate technical content for broad audiences. A strong understanding of brand voice and consistency, hands-on experience managing digital content and social media, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are also essential.
Experience working or living in low- or middle-income countries and familiarity with design tools are advantageous but not mandatory.

About LEEP:
LEEP is a nonprofit organization driven by impact and evidence, dedicated to eliminating childhood lead poisoning, which affects an alarming one in three children globally. Our primary focus is on lead paint, supporting governments to implement and enforce regulations and assisting manufacturers in transitioning to lead-free alternatives. We are also piloting interventions to address other sources of lead exposure, such as spices and cosmetics.
